Crispy Kale Chips

I was first introduced to these delicious and healthy treats a couple of years ago and they have quickly become one of my favorite snacks. More and more, you can find baked kale chips at health food stores but why not make them for yourself? They’re simple, nutritious and amazing as party snacks!

Kale is part of the cabbage family & is rich in Calcium, Vitamin K, Folic Acid, magnesium, & Beta Carotene. It is always wise to buy organic kale as leafy greens easily absorb pesticides & chemicals more than other vegetables.

Ingredients (Organic only)
1 Head Kale, washed and thoroughly dried
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
Sea Salt, for sprinkling

Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F or 350 degrees if a shorter cook time is desired.

Remove the ribs from the kale and cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces. Toss with olive oil & sea salt then lay on a baking sheet. Bake until crisp, turning the leaves halfway through, about 25 minutes total on 275 or 15 minutes on 350. Make sure to turn them once the leaves begin to turn brown. Serve as finger food.

*For an extra pop of flavor, add cashew cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, black pepper or cayenne.
